Sep 22, 2019: Conferences that call themselves “open” something are sometimes nothing but an attack on openness (not to mention freedom) and promotion of FUD about Free / Open Source software (FOSS); there’re ample set of examples to that effect. These are covertly and overtly supported by profiteers like FAANG & its popular gangs.
