Unpredictability is part of what makes right-wing politicians harmful. Because you never know when they’re serious and when they are not, their actions are likely to catch people off guard. The backlash is the new status quo as opposition representation in mainstream media stopped being limited to the token display of OneD characters. Holly-wood / Bolly-wood / Robin-wood etc keeps making moves that seems art designed to placate the right cells, sharpening its toolkit. Badly affecting our social media, political discourse, education, work-culture, news, discussions of equal rights, and AI doped software / gadgets.

That’s what happens when media – and remember that software (like AI) is both media and a tool, much like the pen and paper – gets pushed outside the mainstream, when its very existence is seen as a criticism of what’s normal for the right-wing alias kaurav sena. Criticism, either overtly or just by existing – all the blasphemy, norms, structures, and values of mainstream culture (Avant-Garde or Indie). A standard strategy for right wingers is to redefine anything outside their controlled mainstream or dictates as some obscene or anti-culture.

Global leaders already have strong opinions about what software / gadgets should and should not do for common citizens, and that pattern is mutating fast with AI. Governments are using media buyouts via its connected oligarchs and predators to build media empires, subject to one-party systems and gag orders.

Mandating compliance of large MNC tech brands like Meta, Google, etc is not in the power of even EU. Though Meta won’t help you except cheering genocides. If they’re capable of that, they’re capable of anything. Apple won’t protect you. They have a long history of collaborating with fascist regimes to preserve their access to markets. Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Meta have total control over every customer acquisition path for any software or hardware company that hopes to reach a large user base. Tech monopolies are likely to be strengthened by deregulation, which in turn strengthens their control over who succeeds and who do not in business or politics, whether AI or non-AI.

Global right-wing phenomenon (प्रिय भक्तों): Commodification of all facets of social life is accompanied by anti-feminism, anti-Marxism, anti-liberal, anti-left, anti-rational, anti-worker, anti-native, anti-poor, anti-farmer – no apologies for any crimes or many blunders. Never feel guilty for being a supremacist, migrant-hater, blond capitalist, blue-eyed man, freedom of the purse, resource / religion abuser with colonial geopolitical agendas. For example, current Israeli regime is run by political descendants of those whom Albert Einstein and Hannah Arendt had no trouble calling fascists for their terrorist programs and genocides.

We’re witnessing many such global trends, right wing is more than happy to cocktail nationalism (देशभक्ति) ranting with strategic international coordination in new critical race theories, le wokisme, whatsapp universities and so on. Their events feature influential speakers from media, gold miners, think tanks, fin-tech angles, NLP gurus, bureaucrats and elected officials, including presidents and ministers, past and present.

Authoritarian nationalist playbook is that in order to hold onto power, first you need to control media and education. Build monopolies and armed gangs to ensure right-wing culture is the new mainstream. Their media and electoral successes are significant: accelerating catastrophic climate change, endangering the lives of its chosen targets, exacerbating the Neo-liberal assault on democratic public life. But they don’t reflect proportional rise in reactionary social, cultural or left movements on the ground as yet!

Petty, powerful, and pathologically mobile: We have invented enemies for ourselves and decided to surrender to it! Our governments are being run by aggrieved elites who were thrown onto social platforms with everyone else in the 2010s, where they could finally read what we all think about them. And it caused them so much psychic damage that they have decided to strategically destroy both the internet and democracy to make sure nothing like it will ever happen again.

Any group or individual whose values conflict with that of the right-wing or authoritarian or fascist kaurav norms will have hard times: less access to resources, cut off from networks and payment systems, and their use of the infrastructure they have access to exposes them and their customers to constant risks and pushing them to economic slavery, अज्ञातवास or even genocide. Hardware and software developers haven’t had to think about political issues or revolt or organize despair / pessimism in anyway, not in the recent past.

To the right-wing, the Left is an agent of monumental change: on the brink of destroying oil industry, abolishing prisons and police, undermining private property, abusing capitalism and upending colonial civilization. The Left is systematically undoing the causes of so much of our misery over many centuries. Leftists are facing contemporary reaction in a waking world. Be everything they fear you are, our collective gravity is powerful to turn any tide upside down!
